Promoting a Website through articles on the subject matter of your site is a great way to generate targeted traffic.

Despite the title of this page, articles shouldn't be confused with ads: your immediate purpose is not to sell; only to get readers interested in you and your Website. Show readers that you are an expert in your field, so write concisely and persuasively but don't make it a blatant product appraisal or review. Make sure you submit to ezines that are relevant to your theme. Of course you can also publish articles in your own newsletter or even agree to swap articles with other newsletter editors. Bear in mind that content that has never before been published has greater value to publishers than material that has been reprocessed several times.
3. As a means to add fresh content to your own site: this will make human visitors and spiders return more often.
